This jellyfish is 21" tall and yes, that bottom piece (and leaves) on the wooden base is also a gourd! The top two pieces are separate gourds but the tentacles are rubber coated wire, sprayed to match.
This gourd won 2nd place in the Master Craftsman category in the February, 2008 AZ Gourd Festival.
